Re: Best Post PowerCADD Residential Drafting Application?
Vectorworks allow you to do straight 2D drawing without creating a model or sheet layouts and viewports; most of my work is done this way. I do however take advantage of the many hybrid 2D/3D tools, wall tools, window tools, etc. which work both ways.

Re: PowerCadd 10
Since it appears that PC10 will fully arrive sooner rather than later I have a few questions: 1. Minimum System requirements? 2. Future of Layout with PC? Integration or standalone with FZ? 3. Some sort of mode space/papers pace implementation for PC like Layout? 4. Subscription or other? 5. Retaine...

As we await PC10 it may be a good idea to visit the DR and reflect on what has been accomplished using PV/WT over the years. Although I switched to VW years ago I still keep up with the forum and...

Re: Autocad
My 2023 Vectorworks architect has an excellent .dwg translator.
QCAD is only $40 and using it solves the translation issues, it does have many AutoCAD Lite features and can be used for initial floor plans to be sent to engineers for their use as backgrounds for their work.

Re: Autocad
I installed QCAD Professional as an alternative to AutoCAD Lt, it seems to be able to do most everything ACL does and should meet my needs for
a .dwg/ dfx open/use/save package. I will use this to mainly open AutoCAD files from engineers and to check VW translations into AutoCAD sent to engineers.

How good is the roll loading procedure compared to your (our) last printer? reviews have not been very good.
