Re: WildTools for PC10?

It is well worth the three-week effort to port Wild Tools to PC10.

The latest PC 10 beta is out, I just downloaded it. It's discouraging to see that little apparent progress has been made since the last update over 3 weeks ago. I'll review this beta and report directly to Support.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

Uh, I know of at least two basic features still missing that I would consider foundational. Hmm. I know of a lot more than that. For example: Needs to Be able to write to DWG. I can open DWG docs, but not "save as." Door and Window Tools Looking for full functionality including WildTools 2D tools. ...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

While I don't feel at liberty to discuss specific bugs, I will say I'm privileged to be a part of the beta testing team. Overall, however, I am finding that development of PC10 to the point of being a valuable tool has been a slow go. For example, there is no "duplicate array" yet. Moving an object ...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

I've been reporting bug fixes and tool mishaps to the Support team. I hope they are paying attention. For example, a problem with the dimension text hasn't been fixed and I've reported this bug for the past month.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

The latest build did not fix the text issue with the dimensions. When a dimension is edited, it still causes the text to double. I sent this report to Support.

Re: Auto Turn Tool

Am playing with this tool. It seems to work best when I elect the modifier with the pen symbol- I interpret that as a Bezier tool. There are car illustrations and truck illustrations. I selected one which was "Toyota Camry." Started in a parking space, dragged the cursor with clicks, then noticed th...

Re: Autocad

Downloading Autodesk AutoCAD LT today because I'm tired of waiting for Engineered Software to give updates. They really don't treat their loyal customers very well. Can't run on mac iOS Mavericks forever as other software begins to not work with such an old iOS. Been using Powercadd for about 18-ye...

Re: Autocad

I tried MacDraft, RealCADD, and, lately, Morpholio Trace, which runs only on my iPad. Hi John, What was your result with RealCADD? The interface looks a lot like PowerCADD. The website looks suspiciously out of date (so I would be concerned it's not being developed any longer). Hi Peter- sorry it t...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

...... so I think if you've been working in standard PowerCADD you'll be very pleased but if you rely on WildTools (which I do) then it won't be so thrilling. David I worked in standard PowerDraw and later PowerCADD. At least I had the provision to size and insert doors and windows into double line...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

OK, so first off, glad this forum is back up.

Probably, an update on the Beta will be sent shortly. Hopefully, that beta will feature more tools to try.
