As I incompletely understand it, you cannot run 32 bit virtual software or emulate 32 bit software on a 64 bit operating system.

I don't think that's the case since I'm running PowerCadd in a VM on a 64 bit Intel Mac Mini…

FYI…
If you have a VM application like VMWare Fusion it looks like the VM's you use must have ARM versions of host OS's…tried it on my M1 mac…

Running PowerCadd in an M1 VM looks like a non-starter…

Frankly if I was able to do it all over again, knowing that PC would be going into the dumpster before the end of my career I'd have stuck with MiniCad, which is now Vector works.
