Re: translating from sketchup model

Currently downloading SketchupPro free trial. before launching into an explanation of how to export elevations, sections, or plans, I suspect that the SU free trial will not allow you to export DWG files. I may be wrong about that, but if not you'll have to subscribe or ask the prior architect to g...

I think it is in the Utilities folder within the PowerCADD application folder.

Re: Crash upon opening a DWG file

Where does one find this ODAFile Converter? It does not seem to be on my hard drive.

Found it linked in another thread - https://www.opendesign.com/guestfiles/o ... _converter

I misunderstood, that I would find this among the folders from my PowerCadd install.

Re: Register Your Interest in a Forward Move

We have news that a strategic partnership between PowerCadd and FormZ 3D software will ensure the next version of PowerCadd will be developed and completed. I'd like to believe that the users clear statements of interest here contributed to that in some small way, so thank you for your posts. Please...

Re: Testimonials: tell us about PowerCADD's value to You

I adopted PowerDraw for my Cad work in my architectural practice in 1993. I'd just started my own office and was determined not to do hand drafting on any work from the start. PowerDraw, later PowerCadd was so easy to learn, so analogous to my hand drafting practices that I immediately became produc...

Testimonials: tell us about PowerCADD's value to You

We've all used PowerCADD for many years, some of us all the way back to PowerDRAW. We have integrated PowerCADD into our businesses, into our work flow, like any valuable tool, PowerCADD has become essential to what we do every day. Sometimes a tool makes a job easier, faster. Sometimes a tool does ...

OK, so it's not like there's a group of beta testers who were working with Todd on 10, right?
I don't know if there is or isn't. I am not in a beta group.

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?

Where is the PowerCADD 10 beta? It is wherever it was when Todd stopped working on it. Let me try to put this in even simpler terms. We have an achievable hurdle to complete a 64bit Cocoa based PC10 that would run right now on M1 silicone, and could carry us out 6,8, or even 10 years... ...assuming...
