Re: Not quite OT- New Printer

Back in 2010 I had a Canon 36" wide format printer. It used ink tanks… You could call the ink cartridges “tanks” as they are quite large.... On Canon's wide format printers, Canon themselves calls their cartridges "ink tanks." ;) The large format Canon cartridges are tanks in as much as the print h...

Re: What Mac OS are you running?

I rely heavily on Quicken, I've been in Mojave since it came on my current PB - as others said, no problem. However, also using Quicken and they have indicated they are sunsetting Mojave support in future upgrades. I'm fine running an older version until PC allows me to move forward, but just check...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

First post in this thread David said he's expecting to do a beta test when it's ready. I have no inside info, but I suspect that drawing was one that Greg did with the shipping software and sent them for their in-house testing. Yes - thats the case. I shared that drawing to Todd before FormZ began ...

Re: New PowerCADD beta

Might anyone know if PC10 beta will be available for review to just a few experts like Matt Arnold, Greg La Vardera, etc., No news from me –– I plan to sit out the beta period and wait till the first release is offered. I have no fall back here - when I move forward to the new PC version I have to ...

PowerCADD to desktop pen plotter

Was gifted one of these desktop pen plotters from a good friend, and did a couple of experiments with it. Its called an AxiDraw. Here is a short video of it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mijJx49_yJw yes, it will accept any old desktop pen - I'm using a reliable old Pilot ball liner. Wil...

Re: Not quite OT- New Printer

I have a Cannon IPF710. It makes great prints and other than changing the printheads once I have been using it for years with no problems. When I upgrade my IMac OS software and add the new PowerCADD, the printer/plotter becomes obsolete. There are no drivers for it that will work. So when I upgrad...

Re: Not quite OT- New Printer

Back in 2010 I had a Canon 36" wide format printer. It used ink tanks… You could call the ink cartridges “tanks” as they are quite large - I compared the cost per ml for ink with the current small HP plotter when I made my purchase, and the HP ink was much more expensive. If there was some problem ...
