Re: PowerCadd 10

Hi Joyce, I transitioned from PC to VW in mid 2020 and have been very happy with the investment. While not as simplistic as PC, VW has some incredible features that have significantly improved my workflow. Specifically the notes database, data-driven title blocks, worksheets, and linked callout tags...

I have never found the simple 2D hatching capabilities in VW to be very good, even after many years of use through various upgrades.

Re: Clarification-the future of PowerCadd

I will be completing my last project in PowerCadd this month. Given the lack of information regarding updates, I made the decision last year to slowly transition to new software. It has been a long and steep learning curve, but I am ecstatic that I have eliminated the possibility that I'll be caught...

Re: ungroup hatch from shape

My workflow for something like this is to assign the line attribute for the hatched object to "none." Same result, less hassle. ...I think.

FWIW, I tried it using your method (Convert to Object) and it seemed to work as you explained.

Re: Erratic Keyboard behavior in Parallels

I ran into this problem last night and found the solution on the Parallels Site. Shift key fixed, but the zoomer works intermittently.

Good luck!
