Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
My preference is also for a perpetual licence. As someone not far from retirement who will likely use PC less regularly, the concept of paying a monthly fee I also find less palatable.

Wow, that is the most promising thing I have seen so far! If beta testers are needed, count me in!

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?
I would definitely agree not to get into 3D. I have not found any application that is as elegant to use at 2D CAD, and I would say the main objective should be to get it running on the latest OS, not to expand its features. There are a few issues that have been noted which need to be addressed, but ...

Re: Zooming & scrolling
Hi all, I was hoping I might get a bit more traction from my original post from some long-time PC users. I'm still wondering if there might be a way to make the "indexing" finer so that I could do more precise zooming? I've set the acceleration to zero, since I find that I more often need precise zo...

Re: transparent background in PDF
Can you clarify a bit what you mean Steve?
I save pdf's all the time from PowerCADD (Print > Save as PDF) and they all have transparent backgrounds. They work great to drop into a Keynote presentation...

Re: PowerCADD new document window at launch
I have one other minor issue related to opening existing files. I tend to use the same method as David for finding a recent PC file, however rather than going to the File Menu, with many other applications (not all though) I can right click the application icon in the dock to see recently opened fil...

Zooming & scrolling
Every once in a while I like to review my PowerCADD settings to see if I really have them set most efficiently. One of the things I would like to customize better is the way I use the mouse wheel. I have it set for zooming when I use the wheel and the Zoomer action all works quite well. A couple of ...

Blossom Palette
You need to check "Blossom" under Preferences > Loader. The Blossom Palette should then show up under the Window pull-down menu.
By the way, the Cloud Tool is a standard tool in in WildTools — I wasn't sure if you have WildTools?

Stationary
Does anyone know how to have the stationery sort in a logical order (maybe alphabetical?) when you open a new document? No matter how I name the stationery files in the Stationery folder, they appear somewhat randomly.
Thanks...

Recent Items List
This is not really a very serious issue, but I'm wondering why PowerCADD is the only application that doesn't update the list of recently opened files when I right click the icon in the dock? Once in PowerCADD, the Open Recent list in the pull-down File menu seems to update correctly.
