Many thanks Alfred! As usual, your work is amazing and indefatigable (it seems)!

Re: PowerCADD - SketchUp Interaction

Long time using PowerCADD and SketchUp. Mostly using SketchUp for exterior models for exterior elevations, and visualization scenes both exterior and interior, and sometimes site models. PowerCADD for the rest of documentation and studies. I often develop topographic information in PowerCADD and use...

Re: What Mac OS are you running?

Using Mojave 10.14.6 with my mid 2014 MBP. Works great. i have one bug that crashes PowerCADD but that's been there a long time before. Also works well with SketchUp, and passable with Thea. Works with the Apple programs I use, plus GMP, Excel, and Word (when I bother to use it). That's most of what...

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9

Patrick, I've experienced this with pdf for some time, probably from ACAD. Thanks for the information on how to solve it. I think there are changes to types of pdfs but I still find many pdfs that behave well, so I don't think it is your system that's at fault. I also see some vector pdfs that will ...

Re: PowerCADD Future

I am looking forward to a joint 2D/3D integrated product with all the capabilities of both products and will happily contribute to beta testing if that is helpful. Slight misunderstanding here. The companies are joining forces but FormZ and PowerCADD will continue to be separate programs. Alfred Af...

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9

I have not had printing problems while printing to pdf, whether recompiled in Preview or not. I set up custom sheet sizes for some drawings and I DO use margins so i don't know why I shouldn't. The sheet should be the right size--it just changes the page break size. I send to commercial printers and...

Re: Hatch printing too large, sheet size incorrect

You've probably thought of this, but might it have something to do with your "page setup" configuration, in particular custom sheet sizes? I some times have similar (but different) issues when I've deleted a printer and added a new one. I did reset this for good measure and it made no difference. T...

Re: Hatch printing too large, sheet size incorrect

Good idea. But that had no effect on the corrupted file. Thanks!

I just can't see why "save as" worked for my friend but not for me.

Hatch printing too large, sheet size incorrect

I've had an issue where two different files developed a problem where print to pdf creates an image that has the incorrect sheet size and the hatch patterns (for the most part) come out way too large in scale. In Preview the sheet comes out a squarish shape with large borders in comparison to the de...
