Re: Hatch printing too large, sheet size incorrect

You've probably thought of this, but might it have something to do with your "page setup" configuration, in particular custom sheet sizes? I some times have similar (but different) issues when I've deleted a printer and added a new one. I did reset this for good measure and it made no difference. T...

Re: Hatch printing too large, sheet size incorrect

Good idea. But that had no effect on the corrupted file. Thanks!

I just can't see why "save as" worked for my friend but not for me.

Hatch printing too large, sheet size incorrect

I've had an issue where two different files developed a problem where print to pdf creates an image that has the incorrect sheet size and the hatch patterns (for the most part) come out way too large in scale. In Preview the sheet comes out a squarish shape with large borders in comparison to the de...

Re: WildTools Developments

If I understand it. I think I like Matt's idea. For example we often have to take an area and place rectangles such as a certain number of cabinet doors in a space. Even a simple layout tool that creates rectangles with specified "gutters" between them would be nice. Alfred. I like your idea that a ...

Re: WildTools Developments

Thanks for all the great work Alfred! On the Text tool, I have never liked "Advanced" Text. It does things like mirroring to backwards text and wrapping letters of single words. I don't find those features of Advanced Text useful. What I've always wished for is leader text with preset width (what wr...

Re: PowerCADD Future

Thank you Todd for pursuing this. I know that just because AutoSys is getting involved does not mean it will be successful without effort on your part. I am greatly encouraged by this news. PowerCADD is the reason our upgrades to new systems are on hold. At present this works, but not sure how long ...

Re: ILEXSOFT High Design Users?

I find it helpful to hear other PowerCADD user's experiences and ideas on migrating to another software when PowerCADD can no longer be used, which can happen for various people for various reasons. It will be a costly and painful experience, so finding the best solution(s) is important for those wh...

Re: PowerCADD Future

I've got Graphic and I think it can draw in scale. Maybe I'll have to start using it more. Or maybe I'll cough up the £150 for the emulator... I've forgotten about Graphite (Ashlar-Vellum). I kind of liked what I saw years ago. It seems worth checking out. The developers seem active but I haven't s...

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?

Why Rhino?
ArchiCAD has 3d. Or you could use SketchUp if Rhino is so painful.
