Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
Hi RT, The compression filter only works on the bitmap images you have in your document or PDF. It doesn't affect vector graphics at all. If you're interested, the process to add filters using the ColorSync Utility is explained here: https://support.apple.com/en-lamr/guide/colorsync-utility/csync00...

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
Thanks John. So you're just "filtering" it with a second PDF print through preview? That's interesting. I'll try it out and see if that clarifies the troublesome pdfs. Out of curiosity, what led you to that particular process? Also I did move the printer so I could print direct and that, at least, w...

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
I need other people to be able to print the drawings too, from PDF outputs, occasionally. BUT... that's a lot less of a common issue, very few of my clients print their own hard copies. And it looks like the T120 my company owners has mac compatible drivers/utilities as well. So the short term answe...

PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
Hey Folks, Typically I produce PDFs from Pcad in Arch D size, either sent to my clients or to print later, typically from a windows PC hooked up to a HP Designjet T120 large format printer. I typically use the native apple print to PDF function on my drawing machine, and use adobe acrobat to open/pr...

Re: PC 9 upgrade order
Apparently it's just a human managed process, and ordering on a Sunday night on a holiday weekend means I wait!
Got my link and all is right with the world.

Re: PC 9 upgrade order
I tried sales first and it bounced. I then tried tech support... and they are probably on holiday, which is fine, I'm just surprised a digital delivery item would require any human interaction at all, so I guess I'm looking for reassurance that this is, in fact, how it goes these days?

PC 9 upgrade order
I'm finding the sales@engsw address is broken. I just tried to purchase the PC9 upgrade package on the store, got my email that I would get another email "when it ships"... but it's digital delivery... no idea how long I'll be waiting for a download link but don't have one yet? Is this a process tha...

Re: Help Please! Situation has suddenly gotten serious.
Thanks Alfred! I thought I posted a reply already, but it seems to have dissapeared. First off... thank you for all you've done with WildTools. What a great toolset, it's really enhanced my life, and glad to see you're still at it. I see now I was confused because the store layout has changed. I use...

Help Please! Situation has suddenly gotten serious.
Hey Folks! I've been a PowerCADD user for about 20 years now. About 8-10 years ago when Apple started breaking backwards compatibility, and the real estate crash was hitting my company, I moved away from Apple, so my Mac-Fu is both rusty and out of date. However, I kept my PPC chip OSX 10.4 tower wi...
