Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

For other things, the plan checker will require you to add it--so why fight it? Because you have liability if it isn't perfect... for example when the code changes, for ex...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

John: Thanks for clarifying.....I was trying to figure out how you did some of the plan symbols.....like doors...you'd have to use multiple tools in PC10 to create the door.

Re: PowerCadd 10

I just downloaded the new beta build and I get a 'You are not licensed for this product" dialog when I launch. Anyone know how I can get past this to log in? Robert, Please refer to "PowerCADD Beta II kickoff notes" included in the current Build for setting up a new account. My guess is you need to...

Re: Best Post PowerCADD Residential Drafting Application?

Hey Peter, have you tried Chief Architect? I have the trial version which you can use anytime and there's no time limit. I found there are too many tools and settings to learn quickly. PC is the simplest and most elegent 2D drawing application available. I've had CA for about 6 months and contiune t...

Re: Fonts

I am not the expert here, but, I would think if the specific font you want in PC9 is in your Font book on your Mac, you should be able to see it in PC9 under Text/Text Styles/Add Styles then go to the drop down section in Add Styles and Centurl Gothic should be there. If you can't see it, maybe High...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Hi Giulio:

I would suggest a fresh install directly from the ENGSW website:

http://www.engsw.com/products/powercadd ... -5-update/

Hopefully, that should work.

ODA File Converter is easy to use and saves DWGs etc to a format PCadd can open.

PC 9.1.11 includes ODA in the Utilities folder.

We usually select R12 Binary DXF for the output.
