PowerCADD - SketchUp Interaction
I see comments here and there that quite a few people using PowerCADD also use SketchUp, but there hasn't been a topic to discuss it directly on this board, so I'd like to open a discussion. First, how many people here use SketchUp? How many are also on the SketchUp or Sketchucation bulletin boards ...

Re: PowerCADD Future
If you are looking for beta testers, you can count me in too. I'm setting up a machine now with two partitions; one with Mojave on it and one with Monterey on it so you can boot it up either way.

Re: What Mac OS are you running?
Mostly because of hard disk space, I had to move from a 2012 MacBook Pro 15" running Sierra to a 2014 MacBook Pro 15" running High Sierra about a year ago. I ran into a problem that my age old standard office fonts, Stone Sans and Tecton for some reason wouldn't work on High Sierra. I got a font uti...

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
It's really weird and frustrating. Something about the printer. It seems to only happen with a PDF file reduced 50% to 12x18 paper, which is a custom paper size and "user defined" on the printer itself. If I print 50% straight from PowerCADD (no PDF in between), no problem! If I print 50% reduced to...

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
I have a new problem today. My D-Size PDF documents won't print properly at 50% reduction on 12x18 on my Epson printer from either Acrobat or Preview. What I get is maybe 52%, so not to scale but close? Printing straight from PC works correctly. Absolutely frustrating. I can't make sense of it.

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
Acrobat Pro which has a function to compress the file size. FWIW Apple’s Preview can do this as well, and it’s possible to set up presets with different degrees of compression vs quality which you can then choose from the dialog menu for exporting. Well, that was certainly well hidden. I had to Goo...

Re: PDF Printing issues in PCadd 9
I use print to PDF as well. Like Patrick, I've made custom sheet sizes. You can have D size sheets that way even if you don't own a printer capable of them. I compile and process them if needed in Acrobat Pro which has a function to compress the file size. Strictly vectored drawings from PowerCADD d...

Re: PowerCADD Future
Curiously, there doesn’t appear to be a PDF export from what I can gather - that would be important to implement for me and others here I’m sure. Not the biggest problem in the world, because on a Mac you can create PDF's from any application that can print via the print dialog box. I use this feat...
