Hi,
I've just moved all files to a newer iMac, and unfortunately, allowed it to update to Catalina 10.15.6 this morning. I'm not able to run PowerCADD 9.1.11 anymore (which I guess is the 64 bit issue). Without having Time Machine, any thoughts on how I can revert to Mojave?
Thanks!
Jamie

Re: Switching machines
Just for a quick update - if I turn off the wifi, then the software performs normally, but once the wifi is back on, the limited functionality returns. Is it related to some unintended network sharing we have turned on? The only other machine with PowerCADD running is on a separate license. Thanks f...

Re: Switching machines
Hi,
Thank you for getting back to me.
Our machines aren't on a network, and this morning I started the iMac with PowerCADD before running anything on the PowerBook, and I get the same message. Any ideas?
Thanks again.

Switching machines
Hi,
I'm switching from an older PowerBook to an iMac. I downloaded the PowerCADD demo, and entered my install code, but when I open files i get the message "This PowerCADD is already running on the network. Some functions have been disabled."
Any ideas on how to get past this?
Thank you,

File crash and BAK file remains
Hello,
I had a large file crash while saving, and now all I have is a .BAK file, but when I try to rename it .PC9, it doesn't open.
Any thoughts on how I might be able to recover the file?

Re: Text Edit Window
Thank you for the responses. The only way I was able to get the Text Edit window available again was to change the alignment of my screens (laptop and external monitor) so that the control bar of the window became visible again. Not sure how it got that way, but at least it's working now. Thanks aga...

Text Edit Window
Hi, I'm using High Sierra (10.13.6) with PowerCADD 9.1.10 & have just run into a problem with the text edit window appearing partially off screen, so I can't move it to a place where I can access the control bar at the top. I assume it's the result of some system update, because I've never seen this...

Losing shortcuts when program crashes
They are still there. It seems to happen when the software crashes (usually when trying to translate a DXF or DWG file), or if the power is turned off.

Losing shortcuts when program crashes
Hi,
We have a problem with losing all of the key command shortcuts when our computers crash or lose power. Is there a way to save the key commands that can be re-loaded when recovering from this? Using PowerCADD 9.1.10
Thank you,
Jamie Findlay

Re: DWG Translation for Latest AutoCAD
Hi, We're having issues with translation as well. I tried the converter mentioned here, but it gives me an error message when I try to convert a DXF file. Is there an overview of best practices for saving AutoCAD files (version, and process) for better translation to PowerCADD? Our office is using P...
