Re: Font Replacement
I've discovered that the font replacement does actually work, it's just that for a lot of fonts, when you select them from pop up list, the result just shows as blank. Still, it's getting old to run through the same operation with every old drawing I open. I wish I could save a setup and just apply ...

Re: What do you need?
Add me to PC and WT running 64 bit Big Sur and M-1 chip. Every year TurboTax only runs on an OS 2 years old or newer. I have been juggling operating systems for years now, and would like to stop the clown act. Yeah, I could live with existing OS forever, but it's the other software packages that ke...

Re: What do you need?
I'm scraping by with older hardware for the moment, but it's getting more and more difficult to hang on.
I also need better interactivity with SketchUp At least improvement in DWG import/export.

Re: multi-page pdf file
I didn't know you could even do that with Preview (put multiple pages together) I've relied on Acrobat Pro for that for ages. A friend uses PDFPen for that. I would have to try it in Preview and see what happens.

Font Replacement
I'm moving to a "new" machine. High Sierra didn't like a couple of my font families, but I figured out how to fix them, install them, and good to go again. When I open an existing drawing, I get a dialog that certain fonts aren't on my system and do I want to substitute something else. That would be...

Re: multi-page pdf file
In page setup, you should be able under page size to choose "Manage Custom SIzes..." and create a 24"36" page for "Any Printer." You can choose that just for printing to PDF even if you don't have a printer that has that size.

Re: Happy to see a new PowerCADD forum
Greg - Good to see you back. I've also grown in use of SketchUp and PowerCADD together. I was supposed to be a speaker at the convention in September, but it was cancelled because of the pandemic.

Re: 64 Bit PowerCADD - Coordinate System changes
Alfred already knows I'm in the SketchUp user camp wanting better interaction. I wonder if we could do a poll of how many people use what 3D software along with PowerCADD?

Re: transparent background in PDF
I didn't think PDF had transparent background. Every time I need transparency on an import to SketchUp, it's had to be PNG. I have used a lengthy process in Photoshop for turning white background to transparent, mostly for scanned hand drawn artwork, but it's a bit of a chore. DWG out from SketchUp ...
