Re: PC won't launch
I restarted in Safe Mode and PC opened up immediately and didn't crash! Sorry to be ignorant, but what should my next steps be? You should upgrade to the last shipping version of PowerCADD (and WildTools if you use it). You can get them here: http://www.engsw.com/products/powercadd/powercadd-9-1-5-...

You should upgrade to PC 9.1.11 and then get the latest beta of WildTools.

Escott,
Try starting PowerCADD in safe mode by holding down the Shift key when launching. That might give us some more clues.

Re: PowerCadd 10
Chip, You have raised some great points but I must disagree with one issue: The uncertain future of WildTools is a bit disheartening as so many are reliant on it for critical workflow, but so it goes. This issue does shed a critical light on how software is developed and controlled long term - a sin...

Re: Restoring Missing PC Tools Palette
You could try resetting your screen resolution (in System Preferences) to something smaller than the current size. This might force the palette back on screen. Then set the screen res back to where it was.

Re: PowerCadd 10
Architect John can you expand on running pc 9 on os 10.14 on a m1 Mac? As far as I am aware, there is currently no solution for running PowerCADD 9 on Apple silicon Macs. Neither VM Fusion nor Parallels Desktop support Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave) or earlier on those machines. PC 9 is compiled as a 32 bit...

Re: Install help needed
Hi Kevin, You will have to downgrade the OS to Mojave. PowerCADD 9 will not run natively on any OS newer than that. The only other solution is to purchase emulation software, such as Parallels Desktop, and run Mojave as the OS in there and thus run PowerCADD 9. This is NOT an easy or straight forwar...

Re: Dashes
This might be related to using Global Attributes that you can set in PowerCADD's Preferences - General tab. If they are turned on you should have a read of the section in the manual on Page 181 and then more specifically the section on Updating Global Attributes on page 183.
