Re: How About a Version That Runs on an iPad?

That’s not a realistic thing to hope for. PowerCADD follows the movement of the mouse when the mouse button is not pressed, and in WildTools the time involved from mouse-down and mouse-up is important for the behavior you are used to. You can of course view a pdf of the drawing on an iPad. I’m curre...

Re: WildTools Developments

speaking of Canadian standards, was there ever a request for the addition of Robertson (square drive) screw heads? How about Torx - has become super common in structural wood screws. All there. Including TimberLOK and HeadLOK. www.seqair.com/WildTools/NutsBolts/SheetMetScrew/SMScrew.html Alfred

Re: WildTools Developments

I've just updated it.

It expires on the first of each month, so maybe send me a note a few days before.

Re: PowerDraw 3 translation

Sheesh!

That was back when it was a revolution to have color icons for the tools!

I remember there were fierce battles over those things.

Re: System Req's for the new PowerCadd

John,

No change for you, but there are new requirements for creating the programming.

However if you want to upgrade to 64-bit machines, that will be fine.

Re: Pivot Door

Matt drew up what these are and in looking at what is involved in adding this to the tool, and considering how you can easily draw the pieces, I don't want to pursue this. Sorry.

Re: Pivot Door

I really don't know much about any of this and I depend on Matt Arnold and Greg Johnson to pass on and recommend suggestions for inclusion in WildTools.

Re: PowerDraw 3 translation

I’ve put Mike in touch with a user in North Carolina who is running PowerCADD 6 on a G5 PowerMac. He said he would be happy to help. Certainly PowerCADD 6 should be able to open those files.

Checking with David Kropp on how he and Todd were coming along — Making good progress, but we have encountered some unexpected issues. Let's touch base next week. But then I’m now in Wyoming with Sara and her girls, then David is out until the 18th so we will connect after that. Plan was to have a b...
