So you want Apple to make really great stuff, better than all others but sell it at a comparable price to substandard intel computers? I don't understand the argument. Everyone is free to choose to buy a computer from other companies.

How awful it is that Apple makes super powerful computers that draw so little power. It's just a damn shame..

We don't even have any idea of what the next version of PC will have and not have as far as features. Let's give Todd a chance to finish up what he is working on. Then we will have a baseline to see what we feel like we need. If PC has an API or allows 3rd party plugins, all will be fine.

Not to mention that many developers stop supporting older installs as time marches on. It is just a matter of time before something doesn't work in Mojave let alone High Sierra. Another concern is battery life. The newer laptops are awesome. It's remarkable how long one can go without a charge.

I have yet to see a single post from someone who identifies a specific must-have feature in the next generation of hard/software from Apple. Not a single one. By that argument, I assume you are still using PC4 on OS9 on a PPC iBook because it works good enough? At some point what works now will bec...
