What cracks me up is when I receive a floor plan for a brand new building and the overall dimensions are to some small fraction like 64’-0 3/64”, like that’s going to happen.

Another option might be to set the drawing scale to metric, draw the plan, then select all/cut/set the drawing scale to imperial/paste special at scale. Lots of ways to skin a cat. I do wish I could let the nudge box do math, though.

Wow, it worked. Thank you Patrick. I was unaware of OnyX and not clear what it did, however whatever was causing the problem has been cleared and PC no longer crashes.

Phew!

I occasionally have a different crashing issue than you have, but I've found that sometimes replacing the Preference files solves the problem and sometimes running the OS maintenance scripts solves the problem, probably due to a permissions issue. (I run them using OnyX.)
