I think it is in the Utilities folder within the PowerCADD application folder.
definitely not in mine, but maybe my install is very old at this point.
Contact me if you want me to email it to you.

Re: Crash upon opening a DWG file

I think it is in the Utilities folder within the PowerCADD application folder. I downloaded a more recent version of ODAConverter, but it wouldn’t run on my 2015 iMac under Sierra, so I am glad I still had the older copy.

Re: Crash upon opening a DWG file

Recently, I've received some AC drawings that I had a hard time getting to open. Finally, I used the ODAFile Converter app to same them as 2010 Binary DXF's and was able to open them. (There are many DXF variations to which to convert the files, but I don't know much about them. The 2010 Binary type...

Re: Migration

I finally got my iMac up and running on Sierra again. It turned out that my problem (kernel panics) was not some corrupt system file but a damaged hard disk. When I took it into the Apple Store, they anticipated replacing the RAM and logic board. Instead, they replaced the hard disk. After it was up...

Re: Migration

Thank you: that did the trick!

When/if we all migrate to AutoDesSys, I hope the same community of benevolent advice persists. I really appreciate the help.

Re: Migration

I have been using Time Machine and SuperDuper and BackBlaze. (I'm sort of paranoid!). On the advice of the Apple geniuses, they said to do clean installs where possible instead of using Migration Assistant. I found this thread: http://www.engsw.com/PowerCADDForum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=150 I'll keep yo...

Re: Migration

I am trying to get my repaired iMac up and running. The computer was wiped, so I am installing applications, to get things as back to normal as possible. I am using Sierra, because that's what worked for me prior to my computer issues. I dragged PowerCADD over to my repaired disk, replaced the prefe...

Re: Migration

I've been having issues with my late 2015 27" iMac lately, having erratic behavior and kernel panics. I had it at the Apple Store a week ago, and they erased the disk and reinstalled Sierra for me. I then used Migration Assistant to migrate things over, and it migrated system files, too, and the ke...
