Re: PowerCadd 10
Still loving PowerCADD working on an old system. Yet I keep coming across the same shortcomings, such as the reference system, and a few things that just don't always work as they should. It's so strange as I am closing in on retirement. Too late I think to start with a new program. The cost and time...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
Escott,
I think the general answer would be "no". You can read through the threads here, but, as usual, the developers are not offering more information at this time as far as I've seen here. It's all pending, with development under progress, we hope. Many of us are in the same boat.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
Report on my separate start up disk: I purchased a Samsung 1TB SSD drive and loaded Mojave on it all with PowerCadd and some other basic applications. When I do a restart from OS Ventura it takes about 1 ½ minutes to load. Everything runs really fast loading PC etc. So Mojave works on a newer machi...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
It’s all about getting the setting right when you export to pdf. Too high a resolution means large file size. I see that when making pdfs from LayOut-- you set the resolution for the document, you don't make a setting when you create the pdf. But there isn't any resolution issue or setting when cre...

Re: Layer Control and Move tool
I agree with your first request. While the tornado tool is fine once you set the the target layer, PowerCADD should allow you to move objects to a hidden layer, even locked layers, using right click contextual menu. This would be particularly good for layer setups. When you find an object that you d...

Re: Happy New Year!
Thank you!My colleague and I are hanging on here, with old equipment, OS, and software, wondering if we'll move on to other CADD (or retire) before this comes to fruition. Not looking forward to any of it really. Even if PowerCADD comes through, there will be an expensive turnover of computers and s...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
I had someone providing me with 2d line drawings in pdf from Vectorworks. Maybe things have changed, but they were so slow and large that they were close to unusable compared to PowerCADD output.

Re: "These items have been hidden...."
Thanks! I never noticed the command there--or I forgot (I don't think I look at the menus very often!, using key commands so much!).

"These items have been hidden...."
I get this message now every time I go to print. I've never seen this before. Can I get rid of it?
I assume it has something to do with WildTools shadow attributes which I have not been using.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
It's a weird conundrum. Will PowerCADD be revived before I retire? Or will my computer give up first? I've held onto older computers and OS for years to keep PCADD and mostly there's no hitch and I've been underwhelmed by Apple in the last few years anyway. Meanwhile other software moves on and I ca...
