Mirror Tool
Keith, My memory is not always what I would like it to be, so please help me a bit. We have a Mirror Points tool in the Move Points row of WildTools. Is this the tool you are talking about? This tool works like the Move Points tool in that you first draw a selection rectangle around the vertices you...

Can't activate Balloon Text Tool
As I recall, this is due to a corrupt font. Use the Fontbook app to eliminate any bad fonts. The Balloon Text tool uses the font selected by the PowerCADD Text tools. Select one of these tools, and choose a font that you are sure is good. Then you should be safe with the Balloon Text tool (or any si...

Cutting Bitmaps/Pdfs
The empty tool palette icon is a screwup on my part. PixelTools at that point was prerelease software that was supposed to disappear without a trace when the trial period was up. Oops. There are always lots of ways to do things, but the thing I most value about PixelTools is the ability to erase and...

David, You can use the Crop tool in PixelTools for that. Also maybe Knife tool in WildTools. I believe there’s a similar way to do that with PowerCADD, but I found it too confusing for my simple mind so I included all this in PixelTools. I have trouble keeping versions straight, so if you can’t find...

Finger Painting
I’ve had a tool idea kicking around in my head for 20 years, and I thought I would throw it up in the air to see what sort of reactions any of you may have. The idea comes from looking at wallpaper designs with leaves that have been stretched and distorted as if someone pressed their finger on the l...

Don't Install Catalina
David, Time frame for 64-bit PowerCADD is uncertain; issues are sanity and sobriety, see bug list at www.openclip.net for details, however to put things in perspective there never was more insanity in the PowerCADD world than with the individual who created WildTools 20 years ago. If you ever see hi...

Malcolm,
I don’t think PDF supports or handles transparency at all.

Matt did not care for the size and distribution of the flowers on the Shrub Elevation tool. He found them to be clustered together in a rectangular arrangement.
So we now have the flowers smaller and scattered over a broader area, and he’s now happy with how these look.

Gradient or Gradiesn't?
Matt,
Have you forgotten about the Gradient Fill tool I created at your request? It deals with all this.
