Re: Testimonials: tell us about PowerCADD's value to You

Thanks Greg and we should add that PowerCADD is a team effort from Todd to Alfred and to all of the users, testers and collaborators. This company is unlike any other..... it's a family . We want each other to succeed so we do what we can to offer our help to other members of our family. I know for ...

Re: Phil Loheed

Nice article Alfred, appreciate the history and certainly sorry for the loss of Phil. The more we understand the PC background, the more we all understand and appreciate it’s role in architecture and design.

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?

With great hesitation and a lot of soul searching and thought, I purchased a new 2019 MBP from Best Buy as a back-up. I would have rather spent the money (around $3,000) on an upgrade to PowerCADD and continue to use my current 2016 15” MBP. I do have an older 2006 24” iMac, a 15” 2011 MBP, two hard...

Re: Update of PowerCADD for MacOS Catalina

The M1 move reminds me when Apple switched from the Motorola 68040 to Intel. They supported the older chips for awhile then eventually they became obsolete.

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?

I think Todd mentioned the "magic" of the interface was all the carbon stuff that is Mac specific.... I wish I knew what the programming labor cost would be for a rewrite. I think there are enough of us that need it that we could fund it. We could always start a "Go Fund Me" account.....I'm happy t...
