Derek, your suggestion is excellent but unfortunately BOZO persists even there. I hit a breaking point and tried the download from you link. no dice.

Re: WildTools Developments
Chip, using my link I just downloaded the PowerCADD 9.1.11 Expert Update (.dmg) file and dragged the WildTools plugin from there to the plugins folder in the installed application and Bozo disappeared. I had of course quit PowerCADD before doing that. The version of Wildtools on the PowerCADD site does not have Bozo.chip.clark wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 9:21 pmDerek, your suggestion is excellent but unfortunately BOZO persists even there. Re: WildTools Developments
Maybe I'm thick, but I just don't get it. Following Derek's instructions I installed the "Expert" version 9.1.11 created Jan 30, 2020 and the WT version 10.1.30 v5 dated Mar 14, 2016 which is 7 years ago. The version of WT which I installed to get rid of Bozo was 10.6 dated Jan 2, 2023, but then Bozo came back this morning and Alfred can't provide a fix until Friday, and I need to get back to work. True, Derek's proposal gets rid of Bozo, but it means I am running a 7 year old WT, and I know Alfred has done a LOT of work since then, so I am stuck with antique software now? Can anyone give me a rational explanation for why Bozo exists at all in the first place (I think it has something to do with extorting contributions to the Drawing Room) and why it persists right up until the eve of Beta testing for PC 10? This thing is absurd, and it seems like once a month my entire workflow is shut down until I get a message saying a Bozo free version is now available for me to stop everything and install. Can we not just kill the Bozo once and for all?
Re: WildTools Developments
All this bickering does nothing. I'm still using WT 10.1.3 v5 because recent versions bomb on all my computers when I try to change preferences. This is the version I paid for a LONG LONG time ago and we all know that using beta versions is not fully supported. I love the changes and additions Alfred has made but I can wait and it does not affect my work.

Re: WildTools Developments
I hate to join this pile on, Alfred has done so much for us, but I would be less annoyed by Bozo technology if the parallel offset tool wasn't bugged. Just cost me another half hour.

Re: WildTools Developments
Bozo with the new update is still Bozo. After many years this is the first time I've experienced Bozo remaining Bozo after an update. Bozo is turned off in preferences so BOZO rules at the present time and needless to say is challenging to work with. I'm aware that Bozo sits on top of the drawn line and it can be removed however that's not a solution to Bozorama if one is to be productive.
Which suggests BOZO has become the Court Jester and Bugs have become software hungry. Any suggestions Alfred?
As always, respectfully and deeply appreciate the work you've created in WildTools.

Re: WildTools Developments
It doesn't look like it's been updated yet. None of the file dates are later than 2nd January.
In the meantime, if you keep the standard PowerCADD toolbox open, you can use the equivalent tools for the ones that have been Bozo'd. The offset tools aren't quite as good but at least you can avoid having to delete the squiggly lines.

Re: WildTools Developments
Hi all,
Alfred has updated WildTools with the Bozo date pushed out however he is having trouble uploading it to the WildTools site. He has sent me a copy and I've placed it in my own DropBox account. As a temporary measure you should be able to get it here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4q2pim6kjwrcn ... e.dmg?dl=0
Please let me know if the download works or not as I've tried to make it public with that link.
