Thanks to David Krupp for the update! Thanks to Todd Stanley for the progress on modernising PowerCADD to run on the latest operating system and thanks to Alfred Scott for bringing the wonderful WildTools along, so it will work on the new PowerCADD as well. The features WildTools offers are indispensable for a major project I am working on. Thank you Alfred! I am looking forward to the beta of PowerCADD proposed for the northern summer!

Thanks, David. It really means a lot. I’m sure that when it finally comes out, you’ll have many new users. Especially those who will wonder why such a program never existed before, not knowing it had existed for decades.

I am keeping a MacBook Pro, 2013 vintage, alive running 10.4.6 MOJAVE so I can keep using PowerCadd & WildTools. Its convoluted but I use AirPlay on the MBP to project onto a 21" Vizio TV on the other side of my office and then connect to the MBP from my 27" iMac using Remote Desktop. This setup lets me expand the size of PC on the iMac 27 to a larger image. Klutzy but it works.

Please hurry on the update for the Apple chips.
