Seems the update broke the edit window and the layer window. Sigh. :?

I have OS X 10.14.6 and PCadd 9.1.10 build SG10

Haven't noticed anything in particular that's broken but haven't tested every function in the Edit and Layers windows to confirm.

What specifically is broken?

poolvib,

We aren't aware of any issues with the update to Mojave, provided you are on 9.1.8 or later.

Best,
Todd

I am currently running PowerCADD on my 2019 MacBook Pro 15.4. After resolving the permissions issues caused in great part by Migration Assistant, the software seems to be running OK, but with the following issues:

1. I use Helvetica lately for my drawing text. When a document first opens on the MBP, a dialog box alerts me to a font that is "unknown" and prompts me to substitute a font. I found out this font was Helvetica! When this happens I choose Helvetica. But then sometimes when I enter text the entries come in blank, so I undo and after selecting the Text tool, I have to select Helvetica from the Text menu.

2. Using the Layer window, I try to hide multiple layers. I have to wait up to 5 seconds for the Hide Layers function to take hold.

Running 9.1.10 on my MacBook Pro.

I have the same issue w/ Times, which we only use in our title blocks. I get the message that Times unavailable and to select a substitute font. I use the pull down and replace it w/ Times, which is in the font library, re-save and it doesn't happen again for that file.

I have had the same issue with Helvetica for quite some time prior to the 10.14.6 update, I have just accepted it as another ones of PC's little quirks.

An odd issue in PowerCADD running in Mojave- this one pertains to WildTools' "Detail Title Tool."

In the past, when one set the font size to 10 point, for example, the title would come out at 20 point and the scale text and bubble text at 10 point. Title done.

Now running in Mojave, all the text comes out at 10 point- no more automatic larger title text. So I have to go back and enlarge the title text. I didn't have to do this before. Definitely a step backward, in my opinion.

I noticed this too, thought it was a difference in PC6 and PC9... but maybe Mojave is the real culprit. I have many variables along with the upgrade as I simultaneously upgraded to a new machine, new os and PC9.

EDIT... my real issue WAS figuring out how to keep my custom key commands after quitting PowerCADD... started a thread on this and THE SOLUTION IS POSTED HERE... viewtopic.php?f=2&t=150&p=482&hilit=Moj ... sions#p482

I fixed this issue. Double-click the icon, then select the font from the Font menu along with the size, then open the tool. It functions like it's supposed to.
