It would be nice if they had a built-in emulator to make older applications work. I heard something about Rosetta 2, but I don’t think it will help us out.

Apple's take on Rosetta 2:

And thanks to Metal and M1, some of the most graphically demanding apps perform better under Rosetta 2 than they did running natively on previous Mac systems with integrated graphics"
PowerCadd cannot run under Big Sur anyhow. So Rosetta 2 is a moot point for PC fans.
