Mojave Refurb Mac Mini at Apple Store

It may not be long before Apple sells it's last Mojave-running hardware, but you can still get a refurbished Mac Mini with Mojave installed at the Apple Store.

Or you could just buy any outdated, second-hand Mac hardware on eBay to keep your copy of PowerCADD running. Why give Apple the cash?

Refurbs from Apple is the only way I buy Macs. You know what you are getting.

Besides, Apple needs the money!

I’m reminded of the time when I developed WildTools 3D. Every business magazine and newspaper was writing that Apple was just weeks from closing the doors, but I was in a work frenzy and could not care less. That was just before Steve Jobs came back to Apple.

It’s one thing to observe a problem but quite another to make a prediction. I’ve done it and I’ve never once been right.

Right now I’m working on little refinements and improvements. All are very minor things, but a lot of them add up. Currently working on using Beziers instead of polygons for 3D threads and Thicken tools.

Biggest improvement in hardware in the last ten years has been going to solid state drives.

the (non-SSD) drive in my mac mini from 2010 or 2012 was starting to sound like a kitchen sink disposal, so I figured it was time. These refurbs are pretty darn cheap, and come with Mojave so it wasn't hard to make the call... i mean in six months we'll be paying $675 for a big mac and a chocolate shake so I figured, what the heck. Mine arrived today, it looks to me like a brand new never-used unit.

Matt,

I suspect the Time Machine restore process will work just fine here.
