Fantastic article Alfred, very well written; a great tribute to Phil whom I did not know personally, just through the Forums and Drawing Room. He was the prime example of how and why PC/WT was/is a "DRAWING AND THINKING TOOL" and very different from a" CAD" program. Most of us old timers came from a drawing/hand drafting background and used PC/WT to continue to work in that vein with the flexibility the Mac gave us. I morn his loss to the PC/WT community and the field of architecture.

Wow, sad to hear this. Thanks for an excellent article. I really appreciated Perspective Tools as you can see by my own contribution to the PowerCADD Drawing Room.

Nice article Alfred, appreciate the history and certainly sorry for the loss of Phil. The more we understand the PC background, the more we all understand and appreciate it’s role in architecture and design.

Good piece, Alfred. Brought back memories.
So sorry to hear of Phil's passing.
I think I lent out a book on perspective drawing in connection to that!
