PowerCADD to desktop pen plotter

Was gifted one of these desktop pen plotters from a good friend, and did a couple of experiments with it. Its called an AxiDraw. Here is a short video of it in action:

yes, it will accept any old desktop pen - I'm using a reliable old Pilot ball liner. Will cover up to 11x17 sheet
You can see it is plotting things from back to front - you must use an intermediary vector drawing program - Inkscape - which has a compatible driver, and import your drawing via DXF. There are a few translation errors - geometry nested in library groups sometimes off scale.
This was a floor plan of a Philadelphia row house I had measured earlier this year. I'll also attach still images of some of the prints:
