Itty Bitty Flowers

Want to sprinkle some tiny flowers on the lawn? Here's one way...

Draw some small circles, and set the lines and fills to a color or colors you want. these circles use a fairly heavy lineweight.

Set the End Caps (in the attribute menu) to NONE (this won't work otherwise) and set the linestyle to dashed

Now use the WildTools Dash Adjuster tool to scale the dash to tweak the number of petals.

Experiment with different opacities...

They don't make your files too big, and they can add some variety to a lawn or planted area.

I haven't tried it, but I am sure you could fine tune the appearance by using the dash editor to make dash patterns to suit your desires.. I also haven't tried using a circular gradient for the fill, that might also add some pop. As would adding a colored shadow...

Off camera I tried it with ovals, squares, pentagons and triangles, give it a spin!
