It would be nice if the WildTools "Date Stamp Tool" anticipated the size of longer dates when creating its text box:
If I use the tool to create a "regularly updating" date stamp on a day that is short (like 1/1/11), when the object is subsequently updated on a day that requires longer text (like 12/31/18), the text wraps to two lines instead of remaining in a single line. Minor annoyance, but still an annoyance.
(I normally don't realize it has wrapped until I look at PDF's that I've created to email to the print shop.)

This one has bit me too.
Would also be nice if it could resize itself for a change of font or type size, both which also trigger a soft line return in the middle of the date.

How about this: A new data-type in the program: Non-wrapping text.
A text object that stays one line high no matter what.
Many situations this would come in handy. Then the date stamp object could be text of this type and you would not have that issue.

Date Stamp Tool text box
PowerCADD has caption text, which might fit this bill, but it’s early in the morning and I need to get my brain going.

Re: Date Stamp Tool text box
How about always using the same number of digits: 01-01-20?
Re: Date Stamp Tool text box
you'd have to also use a monospaced font, so I'm not sure that works for everyone.
