I interpreted the quick reply as an encouraging sign.joseph wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 9:37 amIf you scroll back this forum, you find a post where they asked to send a request by email, if I am not wrong to [email protected]

HARDWARE / OS REQUIREMENTS:
Confirming hardware / OS requirements for the beta.
I've had my small landscape design business on hold for some years and now keen to ramp it up again.
Cheers Jai

Re: PowerCadd 10
HI, what is the latest Mac OS that the new version will work on? I just got a notice from Apple to upgrade to Sonoma - 14.3.1. Can I upgrade?
Re: PowerCadd 10

I got my Beta II. The fun has begun!
I'm excited about how the program is running. So far, smooth, no crashes yet. Program opens quickly. It opens PC9 files quickly. Maybe that's the Mac Studio. I have sent an initial report to PowerCADD support. I've tried it on a sample PC9 file and also on a new file. Both with initial success. I really appreciate the hard work done to transform this great program and wish the best to the PowerCADD team to finish their diligent work.

Sadly, I applied but haven't made the cut for beta testing. Watching & waiting.

Re: PowerCadd 10
Since it appears that PC10 will fully arrive sooner rather than later I have a few questions:
1. Minimum System requirements?
2. Future of Layout with PC? Integration or standalone with FZ?
3. Some sort of mode space/papers pace implementation for PC like Layout?
4. Subscription or other?
5. Retained WT's now and future features?

From the kickoff file....."PowerCADD 10 supports macOS 12 or later. PowerCADD 10 is a “Universal” app, so it will run native on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) and native on Intel processors as well." I have OS 13 "Ventura." I would imagine that any Mac computer with at least 8 gigs of RAM should be able to run this program. My Mac Studio is running this really well.
2. Future of Layout with PC? Integration or standalone with FZ?
Some aspects of the screen layout are different.
3. Some sort of mode space/papers pace implementation for PC like Layout?
Seems to be the same as before. The latest beta does not yet support "print sheets."
4. Subscription or other?
Not sure yet
5. Retained WT's now and future features?
My beta already has some WT's integrated.
Fred, are you registered to test PC10 yet?
