Paul,
We are there too. What are you jumping over to?
AutoCad LT for Mac might be our "easiest" transition (shudder...).
Vectorworks sill holds some attention for me, but no time to test drive it yet.

Simple 2D drafting, no BIM, no 3D... it shouldn't be so hard (sigh).

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
A friend got this message from form•Z Support last week. Are we getting closer or is this smoke and mirrors?

Hi ___,
PowerCADD will be its own standalone application, where it will handle 2D information and formZ will handle 3D. v.10 is nearing its last phases of Beta testing, we plan to have it available in the next few weeks!
Regards,
Brandon

Holy crap. Is this real?
Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
Uh, I know of at least two basic features still missing that I would consider foundational. Hmm.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
I know of a lot more than that. For example:
Needs to Be able to write to DWG. I can open DWG docs, but not "save as."
Door and Window Tools
Looking for full functionality including WildTools 2D tools. I don't care about the Perspective tools. I can use Sketchup or Vectorworks to take care of my 3D needs- even FormZ.
We'll just have to wait and see.

Am I missing something? What happened to Scale – other than grabbing handles or doing math in the object info panel?
