My priority wish list items. Keeping it under 5. Humbly submitted.
!. Fix WT offset line bug that crashes PowerCADD occasionally.
2. Make "shift" key change tool modes in WT again.
3. PowerCADD: provide a command that unlocks all layers (maintaining current layer setup)-- so it is easier to get at a locked layer temporarily or find objects when you can't tell what locked layer they are on.
4. Make WT able to reference a locked layer, for example, trim to and offset objects on a locked layer, but not change the locked layer itself. Layer tool, e.g. could tell what layer an object is on, whether the layer is locked or not.
5. PowerCADD: automatic back up file if no. 1. is not possible.

Peter,
What version of PowerCADD are you on? From your description, it sounds like PC6 on a PPC machine.
You would not experience any of these things with the current versions of PC/WT, and the things you are asking for were done a long, long time ago.

haha no.
But I haven't updated to the latest because, in general things are fine, so I don't want to rock the boat.
The shift switch for trim tool and the needle tool used to work for me.
