Undo of a Multiple Command Sequence

Would it be possible to make an Undo command undo a Multiple Command Sequence rather than just undoing the last step? I think it would be more intuitive that way.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Could you use the Multi Command feature to create a command key sequence that does Undo repeatedly?

You could set a multi-undo but it would only work correctly after sequences with that number of steps.
