New PowerCADD screenshot!
Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
Escott,
I think the general answer would be "no". You can read through the threads here, but, as usual, the developers are not offering more information at this time as far as I've seen here. It's all pending, with development under progress, we hope. Many of us are in the same boat.

Hello,
It’s painful to have to, once again, have to renew my AutoCAD LT subscription after using PowerCADD and its progenitors since, I think, the ‘80s. I have had to hang on to my old iMac in order to access my files.

Escott, I checked out your website—very cool!EONorton wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 6:50 amUgh! I logged on HOPING for more positive news on V10! I've been keeping an old MacBookPro alive so I could run Power CAD and now it is in the shop for another potentially expensive repair. Meanwhile I can't get any work done. I've got to decide if I fix this, buy another used Mac just for PowerCADD while I wait, or give up. I REALLY don't want to give up since I have a number of jobs in progress which will be hard to transfer while also learning a new program.
Does anyone invoilved in v10 know how much of a learning curve this will be for v9 users? If I have to stop working to learn a whole new system for v10 there is less reason to wait, I might as well just go with VectorWorks or something else. I really WANT to wait for v10, but this is getting harder and more expensive as I keep an old machine going just for this.
Also, has it been announced whether this will be a subscription product or a single purchase, and do V9 users get any breaks on the new price?? If that were announced and we do get a break that might keeps some of us patiently waiting for a bit longer!

P.S. In case anyone is interested I have a new use for PowerCADD, I'm doing highly detailed illustrations for my own series of architectural coloring books: https://ColoringHistoricTheatres.com
Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
Another word of encouragement to your patient PowerCADD users would be appreciated.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
Since AutoDesSys now owns PowerCADD, what will the interoperability between PowerCADD 10 and FormZ look like? Will AutoDesSys build the new version to run on PC's as well?
Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
This forum and PowerCADD users are slowly dying off!
No action, no word, no updated information, no trials, no pricing, nothing!
Does anyone at Engineered Software care anymore?
Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
My error. This discussion hasn't been posted to since July 12. I got this mixed up with the other active discussion forum about PowerCADD 10

I see a gap in comments between July 12, 2023 and October 17, 2023. Looks like a lot of posts/rants are missing.
