Curiously, and I had to check this out, 'whingeing' can be spelt with an 'e' or without, as i've always known it from whinging Wales...
I say curiously, because US english tends to simplify and take letters out: labor / color vs. labour / colour
I digress, of course: Don't skimp on the codeing but deliver us a betta-beeta

I will say that at least I learned a new word from all of this exchange - Whineging.. I plan to use it somewhere somehow.

As for the rest of the discussion, I think we've got the makings of a new acronym - SSS; Software Stockholm Syndrome

I'll hold out as long as this old (2009) iMac does, but after that I think a pencil and paper look pretty good...

Engineered Software use Xcode form many years and I know that because I develop my PowerCADD External (Architecural and Topography - in Italy are named IPARos Tools) using Xcode and libraries of PowerCADD developed using Xcode .
The real problem was that in PowerCADD 9 there is too many code that refer to old Apple Library and the development team had to work hard to update the code.

I can understand that, and thank you Iparos for this message which brings us closer to the subject.
I, for one, am extremely concerned by the total silence since David's message in November.
It's understandable that there may still be a delay in relation to that announcement, but the total absence of news at the end of the year, and then again at the beginning of the year (which was an opportunity to exchange good wishes and review progress...) is very worrying.
Is it technical, is it human, is it the relationship between Engsw and Autodesys, is it the funding?
The silence leaves room for all kinds of scenarios and rumors... nothing good.
I wish everyone a happy new year in 2024, and hope that it marks the end of this -too- long story. Whatever its conclusion, let's find out whether the PC page should be turned... or not!

Just a few problems, folks. Granny is injured, the cat is dead, the car is broken, the pc has a virus (windows of course). Be patient. That old song by Supertramp, “take the long way home”, maybe do they think are a Romeo.
We are angry and we are right. The beta “is” but they don’t care and they dom’t want to share it with us. That’s all.

I purchased Vectorworks Architect when Todd announced the end of PowerCadd. Although I continue to pay to upgrade each year and have yet to use it for work. I like many others thought that PowerCadd 10 would have been out by now in one form or another after the fanfare of the original 2021 AutoDesSys announcement.

The lack of communication, yet again, after the mid-December beta tease has given me serious pause. It may well be time to actually use what was my Plan B.

Please David, spare me and others from moving to a different platform and rollout PC10. Even a raw beta version would work.

I'm the same I have Vectorworks and have continued to pay my select fees every year whilst I had hoped for a Powercadd upgrade and struggled on with PC9 but it's now time to switch off my old Intel Mac and make a concerted attempt to only use Vectorworks and not look back, I can't put my business in the hands of people who can't run their own business.

Just for share some info the private beta is regularly shipped to the restrict group of private beta so I can confirm that Enginered Software and AutodesSys are at work.
I subscribe a non disclosure agreement so I can’t share more info but developments is in progress.

Is that right? 2nd of January you posted a screenshot with build 983 and on the 21st its build 1077 is that not 94 builds in 19 calender days or 13 working days which is 7 builds a day.

On the 2nd of Jan I posted the latest build at that time. Believe it or not, I thought a positive post was worth it. Now you have another update or maybe it's just yet another post from me that will draw the doomsday-ers to the fore, yet again. Sometimes I wonder why I bother.
