Edit window crash
Edit window crash
I have been using PowerCadd 9 for many years and today, unexpectedly, the Edit window has turned into a vertical line and is unusable and un-selectable. When I activate or close it through the Window menu it just reappears as a vertical line. I have tried to delete and reinstall PowerCadd and the the Preference folder several times. Each time the same problem reoccurs. There must be other system files that are not being deleted somewhere else. Is there a way to make sure I delete all extensions and preferences so that this does not continue? It is completely unusable without the edit window.

Re: Edit window crash
Some things to try:
1. Make sure you have the latest versions of PowerCADD and WildTools installed
http://www.engsw.com/products/powercadd ... -5-update/
http://www.seqair.com/WildTools/Downloads2/index.html
2. Restart your Mac
3. Try starting PowerCADD in safe mode by holding down the Shift key when launching the application
4. Reset PowerCADD by selecting that option in PowerCADD's Help menu.
5. To manually delete all preference files you need to remove the following from the Preferences Folder:
• all files starting with "com.engsw. ..."
• The folder named "PowerCADD"
I always just move them out of the Preferences Folder rather than deleting them in case I need to get something back.
Good luck,
Derek
