How to change the units in selected dimensions lines in a drawing

Q: How do I change the units of some of my dimension lines? Can I change all of the dimension lines at the same time?

A: Yes to both. Here’s how:

1. Hold the option key down while selecting the Arrow Tool from the PowerCADD tool palette.
2. With the select dialog box open, check only the “dimension lines” box and click OK.

3. Select the dimension lines you want to change. You can do a select all (Command A) as shown in the example below, this will select all the dimension lines, or hold the shift key down while clicking on just the ones you want to change.

4. Press Command-E. This brings up the Dimension Edit dialog box. Select the units you want (in this example it is Millimeters), and then click OK.

5. All of the dimension lines that were selected have changed to millimeters.
